Sometimes being human is hard

Things may feel a bit off, uncertain, or heavier than usual. You’re usually the one holding it together, but lately, it’s just… a lot.
When the world feels too heavy to carry alone, I offer a place to pause and find your way home to yourself.

    Who I Work With

The people I work with are often going through life’s messier moments- grief, relationship ups and downs, or big life transitions like moving, changing careers, becoming a parent, or starting over after a breakup. Things may feel a bit off, uncertain, or heavier than usual. You’re usually the one holding it together, but lately, it’s just… a lot.

If that sounds familiar, you’re probably not looking for someone to give you a to-do list or “fix” anything. I offer support that’s thoughtful, down-to-earth, and respectful of you.

    My Approach

    Individual

Perhaps something no longer fits: an old identity, a familiar role, a way of coping that once worked but now constrains.

Individual counselling offers a place to pause and pay attention to what is shifting beneath the surface.

I work with how inner life is shaped through relationship, loss, and history. Patterns do not appear out of nowhere. They are learned, adaptive, and often protective, even when they begin to limit freedom. Together, we examine what has been carried forward, what still serves you, and what may be ready to loosen its grip.

This work is not about quick fixes or self improvement. It is about developing the capacity to stay present with complexity, to tolerate emotional truth, and to engage life with greater agency. Individual counselling invites a more honest relationship with yourself, and with the choices that shape how you live and relate

    Bereavement

Grief has been a significant part of my personal journey. I lost my sister at the age of seven, my partner at thirty-one, and more recently, my father. These experiences have shaped not only who I am, but also how I practice—with empathy, humility, and a deep respect for the complexity of loss.

Grief isn't always tied to death. Life transitions—such as the end of a relationship, shifts in identity, or major life changes—can bring their own forms of mourning. Whether you're processing personal loss or relational change, counselling can provide space to reflect, heal, and move forward.

    Relationships

In relationship, I view conflict as a natural part of connection. What matters most is not whether we disagree, but how we find our way back to each other. Repair, reconnection, and understanding are essential to lasting intimacy. I help partners navigate these moments with compassion and clarity.

While I don’t have all the answers, I do know the terrain. Together, we can work to find meaning, resilience, and a path forward.
